Very large store with great variety of groceries and merchandise. Friendly and helpful employees.
Don't buy tires here! My daughter took her car here to purchase and have four tires mounted and balanced. She arrived just after 10a.m. and was told that it would be ready at 4p.m. . At 5p.m. They still had not even started on it! POOR SERVICE! And this is a place you pay to be a member of!!! You can get a lot better service anywhere else!
It is Sam's club not much to say on it. The reason 3 vs a normal 4 star here is due to the crowds. It is always packed and busy. Finding parking can be a pain and the store is a smaller one so less space inside. It is preferable for me to do the drive to the other Sam's club if I am not in rush.
This Sam's store has 3 things going for it: A fantastic bakery, meat department, and produce department. The meat, with a few exceptions, is not organic, although it's of a higher quality than Costco. The bakery is really excellent. If you need a cake or bakery trays for a party, company event, etc., this is the place to go.
I have memberships to both Sam's and Costco here in Huntsville. In a nutshell, Sam's has high-quality merchandise (in general) but customer service that ranks near the worst I've ever experienced anywhere. Lines to check out are ridiculously long and don't move. The self-check lines don't help the flow. On any given day you might have one or two people working the customer service counter, despite a line that stretches out the door. The cafe area tends to be filthy and crowded. Unlike Costco, the gasoline is not "Top Tier" rated.
