Don't get me wrong, should have been 5 stars. I love Cabela's! I've shopped there twice in the last 3 days. Note for management. I had to price check 4 different items that were on sale only to find out the items were marked wrong. One item I bought was marked 19.99 and when I got home ( an hour away) checked receipt it was 24.99??? Went back to store 2 days later to return. Return dept was great, they offered to match price which was ok, then found out it was on sale for 12.99 which they gave me, Happy!!! Oh and was charged twice for one item which they refunded. Note for shoppers check your receipt and prices. I Will shop there again.
Always find what you need here. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. This store has been a great addition for the outdoorsman in the Huntsville area.
Ive bever been here before but i had to return something that i got for xmas and i was told it came from cabelas and it turned out that the item did not come from cabelas but the guy at customer service was so nice and looked the item up to see where it did come from and he totally didnt have to. With that being said, i have never been here but i definitly plan to return with this type of customer service. Absolutely amazing.
Customer service via phone was an absolute joke. I simply wanted a price on 100 round count of 5.56 ammunition. Rather than this guy just giving me a price he kept saying "we have a bunch of different round counts, so you'll just have to come in and look". Uh no, if I'm paying y'alls prices, the least you could do is get up off your butt, put me on hold and go look! When I finally went and bought one, got to the range, opened the box and I was 8 rounds short. Took it back and told them what happened and they acted like it was NO BIG DEAL that ammunition was missing.
I went to the gun department to check out a higher-end .357 magnum that was in stock for around $1,000 (S&W PC 627). I immediately noticed that on rotation, the revolver's cylinder rubbed against the forcing cone. I pointed out to the salesperson this issue, and shockingly had to explain to him what and where the forcing cone is; and, I explained to him the contact would worsen when fired as the cylinder expands from the heat. He assured me they would pull the weapon from stock immediately and send it back to the factory. Next time in, I noticed the same model, thinking great a replacement. Nope, same troubled weapon had come back out.
