The service was fine. She was nice and helpful.
SUBSTANDARD SERVICE!! My wife and I came in and waited 10 minutes to even be spoken to. We were dressed in Marine Corps Dress Blues and I in a tux. Finally a young lady came by and said sit anywhere you like at this point. We sat down and some "hostess" came by asked if we needed menus I said yes she went got them and rudely placed them on the table and as I was trying to speak to her she walk away and threw her hand up and said your server will be with you shortly as she rolled her eyes. Then not 2 minutes later she comes back and says she needs us to move to another table for a party of 10. Also snaps and says you were supposed to wait for the hostess and I replied I did and she said sit where we like. She was rude and I felt my wife and I were treated as substandard so we left and will not return. I heard great things but was shown otherwise. I will make sure people I know go elsewhere so they can be treated accordingly.
The place is dark. Like dive bar dark. That's fine for the evenings when people are there to drink, but for lunches, it just feels dank.
The food is just OK. They have a vegetarian burger option on the menu, but the waitress told me they never have it in stock. What's the point of having it, then? Everything is just OK.
No one was at the front door seating people even though there was a sign asking we wait to be seated so when we walked in we had to hunt someone down to get seated. The wait staff were great when they were around but for some reason tonight they weren't around often. We ended up paying with the bartender because our waitress took awhile to bring the check and we couldn't find her to ask her for it. The food was good. We had the Patty melt, the club, the BBQ burger and chicken wrap with ranch. The atmosphere was quiet with some good music playing in the background. The bar had several patrons but wasn't overly busy and there was only one other table seated.
Specialty drinks are good. Food is fine. Can be very loud when they have an entertainer, making it difficult to have a conversation with dinner and hot entrees have been delivered cold on occasion.
Expensive drinks and mediocre food. If you like being surrounded by douche bags, then you will love this place. Way too crowded at night and weekends.
It's in an awesome location, and because of that, they can afford to cut corners on everything.
