These guys act as judge jury and executioner. They have no concept of common sense. I was a visitor who made the mistake of parking in a visitor spot. This is against the rules at UAH. You are supposed to know to ask permission and obtain a visitor pass. I asked to appeal my ticket to a judge, and was told I had broken no law, just a rule so I had no legal recourse. I would pay their ticket or lose the right to ever attend classes and be turned over to a collection agency.
I don't even know where to begin with how terrible the UAH police department is.
rude, unhelpful and seem to have intentionally ambiguous rules to write more tickets.
