I called the store because I could not believe how I was treated and the terrible experience. The store manager if he was really the manager did not care. He said he would address the situation with the cashier and he could not tel me either where it mentions 10 limit on items. He said it was a general company policy.
Ben Rob is the managers name and the customer service desk employee is Andrew.
Very friendly and helpful staff leading me to believe this location cares about customer satisfaction, as all other chain locations I've shopped at. Great hours especially for those of us who tend to not find the time to make it around to doing the [usually dreaded] grocery shopping until the time most other grocerers are closing or closed.
I come here pretty often but one particular day I came and everyone just looked miserable. The deli lady looked annoyed, the man in the back looked annoyed because we asked for a particular item. Then I went to the bakery and another employee yelled at another employee for asking a simple question. It was just a series of hot mess. This wasn't inviting - I rather just drive the few extra miles from work and stay at the one downtown. Granted it isn't as big, it's so welcoming.
Disappointed customer
The situation was I got the Knorr sides buy one get one free. I selected one of each flavor and the one free of each flavor. My kids love them and it is a good deal for me since I am a divorced parent one income and no other help. The cashier said that I could not buy what I got because he said that in the add said only 10 per person. I asked him to show me where it was and he ignored me and started calling another employee so he coul get a basket to put the product away. All the other customers were looking, I told him that before I got the product I checked in the phone app and the sign on the shelf and the paper ad and I did not see there was a limit of 10. He kept on ignoring me and yelling for a basket to put my groceries and telling the other employee that the products were going back. Now frustrated I told him that I needed for him to show me where the 10 item limit was mentioned or I would not buy anything. He got the paper ad and showed me were it says on the bottom of the page that quantities may be limited but nowhere on the ad mentions 10. He took the ad to the customer service desk to talk to the employee there. Now at that point I was embarrassed and upset ad left.
It was definitely not a pleasure to shop at Publix today and it's a shame.
I love my Publix. It's convenient and everyone is super friendly.
Best Publix around. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Pharmacy staff is wonderful as well.
I am very disappointed with the service I received today. The cashier made me feel embarrassed and the manager did not care when I called the store after I left embarrassed from the store because the cashier was making a scene. I did not get to buy the groceries I got for my home. I left them all.
