stopped by to get some lunch because of what i've heard around town about this place. i got one container of hot ravioli and one of chicken and dressing. both were DELICIOUS. staff was very helpful and friendly. this will probably become one of my regular lunch spots during my work week. i spent $8 on delicious, hot food from a nice local business. it doesn't get better than that!

Best local grocery. If one shops store brands and sales, Star Market is affordable. It's also convenient in our neighborhood. Their meats are great, and inside the store Terry's Pizza is a Huntsville icon. The pharmacy is fast and personal.
price are a bit high but store is very close to me i stay on mckinley ave . so its cheaper to shop here then to drive 10 - 15 min away to a store with lower prices i wont be saving any thing with the cost of fuel . plus i come here from my fresh meats . they are always cut great and price just right i always buy a pound or two at a time . every one is nice here love this store, my first job was at start market on hwy 231 -431
Everyone that works there is incredibly kind and helpful. Decent selection despite its small size. Bonus points for carrying local craft beers.
