Only negative is the wait time for Dr. Pickett but he is worth it. He is the best and caring about his patient s. Thank you.

I was living in Tuscaloosa before a brain hemorrhage. I woke up days later in Huntsville Hospital Neuro ICU. If not for the surgical skill of Doctor Jason banks as well as the dedication of doezens of staff members, I most certainly would be dead at age 25. I think that deserves a 5 star review.
The office lied to me about my appointment time, they told me 7:30 am and so I arrived at 7 am to fill out paperwork, Then another patient for Dr. Zywicke went ahead of me at 7:30 and I was told my appt was at 8 am. No one told me I'd have to pay for parking in the parking garage, they gave me 10 pages of questions only to ask me all the same questions once I got in the room. Did you even look at it? I raised my concerns to multiple nurses only to have them tell me they're sorry, but they never said they would look into it or fix it. Dr. Zywicke just told me i needed physical therapy. She didn't provide a diagnosis until I asked, didn't give me a recovery time until I asked. She didn't schedule a follow up visit even though multiple Physical Therapists have asked me when my follow up is because they expected a follow up with the doctor. I went to urgent care and a chiropractor before coming here thinking they would take care of me. I asked for an MRI and Dr. Zywicke refused. I'd rather drive to Nashville than deal with this clinic again.
After an MRI I had a ruptured disc pressing on my sciatic nerve , the last month have been unable to walk , stand, or lay down without excruciating pain. They were able to make me an appointment with Dr Picket's nurse practitioner Tamika Hays on 6/30, even though everyone's work schedule was overwhelming she was able to work me in for an MRI and schedule me an appointment with Dr Picket two days later. During my appointment he accessed my problems and said he needed to work me in for surgery that afternoon. We went straight to admitting. The entire staff in every department was awesome , caring and so helpful. Dr Picket finished rounds came to the hospital and I was in the OR at 4:00 pm. I woke up in recovery completely pain free and was taken care of by the best recovery team I've ever dealt with. Two hours later I was released to go home , again this morning no pain pills and completely pain free. What a first class faculty everyone went above and beyond to take care of my needs. Dr Picket and his staff was and is an answered prayer. No way I can thank him for his services , his skills , and his dedication.
I had to bring my mother to see a doctor here and I can't understand why this place would spend money on TVs, pay for the power to operate them and the cable or satellite if we don't know what is being said on them. I understand not turning the sound on but they could use closed captioning. I ask a lady at the desk but she said they were not allowed to mess with them. DON'T EVEN HAVE THEM IT'S A WAST OF MONEY!
