One of the worst places I’ve been to in mylife. No compassion at all. They lied about miscarriage and they have nerve to charge an obscene amount even though i have full coverage insurance, smh. This is an evil place! Including the PREGNANT nurse who wouldn’t tell me anything. You should be ashamed. Don’t consider this place for anything! Go else where or choose a midwife where you can be at home in a serene environment.
My daughter in law has been on as ventilator in AICU for two weeks now and I feel as if though her progress should be a lot better than what it is. Myh daughter in law was taken off the ventilator too early which caused her to have complications and cough up blood. Once my daughter in law was put back onto the ventilator she was at 80% and the vent was not forcing air into her lungs as though the first time the ventilator was forcing air into her lungs. Tonight when as I went into the hospital the nurse Taiki who works from 7 til 7 had rags and a ice pack covering her whole face. She said it was because she was running a fever but I have never seen anyone cover a patient's whole face til the point where it was covering her nose. I took it off her face. This nurse is rude and has no sympathy for a critically ill person. I do not want her as my daughter in law nurse. If the owner is reading this would you please remove her from taking care of my daughter in law because this really upset her husband and i. Taiki also told me that she could stop me from visiting my daughter n law so I left out the room and my son came out later and said that she had an attitude with him. All this started because some family members came and said some rude things while my daughter in law is trying to recover and that is unacceptable with me. Taiki does not need to be my daughter in laws nurse. Taiki has also been washing my daughter in laws hair with a shampoo that her doctor has not recommended for her. My daughter in law has to use a special shampoo. Taiki also put a hat on my daughter in law head without our consent. I would like for her to be removed from taking care of my daughter in law.
Wow!!! This is my wife's first time delivering in Huntsville, and I must say the experience was exceptional. Each and every nurse was supremely amazing. The level of professionalism and expertise was exceptional. We've never experienced anything like this before and we've had 3 children prior to this one all at Decatur General, and Women and Children's Hospital are hands down the best facility we've ever visited. Thank you all for the amazing experience and care you've provided.
I've been a patient there on 3 different occasions and have only had wonderful service every time. The staff is very nice and double checks everything. My kids have also been there for the ER as well as for over night care. Everyone from the front desk volunteers to the doctors have been great with the kids. Very clean facility, as well.
I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS DISGUSTING PLACE!!! A PEDIATRICIAN VIOLATED MY RIGHTS!!! I politly asked her to leave my room and come back later. She refused. I told her I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE BEING BOTHERED and she was trying to snatch my baby out of my hands. I told her to not touch my child and leave and again she refuses this is a violation of my right I have the right to my privacy and huntville did absolutely nothing they give you a paper explaining the rights you have but then violate them. I have every thing on video just disgusting never will I return.
