My work party met at the Weston bar. They let us combine all the little tables to support our big group with no notice. The bar staff were very friendly, quick, and accommodating. The lounge furniture and atmosphere are cozy and professional.
The location is excellent with easy access to bridge street, the rocket park, and the research park. My exposure has been centered around profesional events. Of those I'm not sure how much of the service was provided directly by Westin, but it has always been a pleasant experience.
We stayed at the Element (connected to the Westin) but found ourselves visiting the Westin frequently throughout our stay. The hotel was decorated beautifully and exhibited the ultimate level of luxury. The staff was extremely accommodating and super helpful. We really appreciated the top-notch service from Tony, Harmony Heard, and Josi Barysch as they were especially helpful with making sure our items were stored properly for the Career Fair hosted at the Westin on the following Monday. I will be writing a separate review for the Element but wanted to be sure that anyone who stays here can be confident in knowing they will be taken care of from the Front Desk staff, to the Starbucks located in the lobby. Kudos to this team!
No Roll-Away. When I called to make our reservation I asked for a roll-away. We had a late check in; so 1 hr before our arrival I called to make sure the roll-away would be ready and I was told yes. When we checked in I was told they don't do roll-aways! I was told we would have two queen size beds in our room. At this point it was so late and traveling with one teenager and two small children, we decided to just stay and make it work. We got into our room and it was not queen size beds, they were full size! I went down to the check-in desk and told them the beds were too small. They kept insisting they were queen size. The only other option was a king with a couch that pulled out into a bed. We stayed but were extremely uncomfortable! Also, the next morning, I noticed the bathtub had not been cleaned and there was coffee stained napkins and the breakfast menu filled out from the previous guest. The location of this hotel was perfect with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. That is the only positive thing I have to say about this hotel. When we checked out they asked did we enjoy our stay, I said no and they did not ask why our what could we have done to improve. No customer service. I do not plan to stay at this location again.
Wonderful Westin property in the heart of Huntsville. Love the bridgestreet location. The front desk was extremely helpful and took care of all my needs. The restaurant and bar staff were fantastic. Love the size of the room. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again
