I have to rent cars due to my travels. National is the best company out there. They take very good care of you.
Vehicle was in very nice clean condition, staff at garage kiosk and the return area were very friendly and efficient. Very pleased will use again when in HSV.
The vehicle was in good shape and performed well. The personnel were as always helpful and competent. That's why I prefer to rent from National and have for years.
The young man working the office in the garage was very friendly and helpful, even helped me with my luggage and gave me directions since I couldn't get any internet service for my google maps to work.
When I arrived at the airport a car was not available for me and many other Emerald Club members, we all had to wait. A car finally arrived for me and an attendant parked it in front of the National booth, I asked if I could leave it there because I had not picked up my luggage yet and was told that I could not and had to move it. I had to back the car up through a very tight opening and ended up striking a cement column with my vehicle, now my company must pay for the damage; this would not have occurred if a rental was awaiting for me upon my arrival. If National is willing to accept a reservation and know in advance that their customer will be there to pick it up then they should ensure that the customer is not left waiting for a vehicle.
