Took the family and friends to the tinsel trail in downtown. I am never disappointed in the downtown area. It is always clean, and there are minimal loitering kids/teens. You can tell this a city that takes pride in its appearance and strives to keep it looking nice. Hundreds of decorations and Christmas tunes to enjoy while walking along and checking out the trees sponsored by local businesses. It is great to see the community coming together like this.
Really lovely! Lots of great vignettes for photos. If it's hot, definitely dip a toe in the spring for an instant, icy cool down! One of the must-do experiences in Huntsville.
Beautiful spot after renovations makes this place a hidden gem of the downtown metroplex. Even more special during the holidays.
Beautiful park. Tons of Green space. Large pond with tons of carp and ducks to feed with food dispensers located around the ponds. Several eateries around the park. Great place to play Pokemon Go with tons of Pokestops and Gyms (about 10 stops and 5 gyms within a 1km radius) nearby.
Beautiful renovations. It's a perfect place to spend some time walking and feeding the park life. I love the ducks, most whom eagerly eat from your palm. It's typically quiet unless it's a weekend night, particularly in the summer time when they host movies and concerts. There's a drum circle every Sunday by the spring and it's a wonderful sound that fills most of downtown. If you're passing through, I recommend stopping through here to stretch your legs and a quick drive to Supper Heroes to fill your belly with fantastic food.
