Great place for family outings or dog-walking. Fishing or duck-watching by the lakes, walking/biking/running/scootering on the surrounding greenways. Nice shady trees from which to hang hammocks. Fun walking across rocks in the creek. Roomy pavilions with large tables for picnics or birthday parties. We moms especially like that we can see kids from all points on the greenways around the lakes, so they can ride freely while we walk and talk!
Still a new park and has a weird atmosphere to it. Probably going to be great once the trees grow up a bit. For now, I wouldn't go when it's hot out.

Beautiful but it shouldn't be considered a trail. At least, it is listed as one on traiLink, but it's too short! Only 0.8 miles. On the other hand, walking around the open space, park, Lake, scenery, and wild ducks was refreshing. We walked around the lake 3 times, which was 4 miles. Good when you are in a hurry and don't want to drive far to exercise.
I love this park! I walk around the lakes daily and enjoy watching the birds, geese, ducks and turtles!
